Putting on Christ involves living in accordance with His teachings and embodying His character in our actions.
Putting on Christ is both a spiritual and practical aspect of the Christian life. As believers, we are called to actively embody the character of Christ in our daily lives. In Galatians 3:27, being clothed in Christ indicates our identity and transformation through faith. This metaphor implies that as we go about our lives, we should strive to reflect Christ’s love, grace, and holiness in our actions and interactions. Daily sanctification involves not only gaining knowledge of Christ but also allowing that knowledge to shape our behavior and decisions. By consciously choosing to live according to His ways, speaking truthfully, and engaging in acts of love and service, we wear the character of Christ and become more like Him each day.
