How do we receive crowns in heaven?

Answered in 1 source

Believers receive crowns in heaven by God's grace and as a result of their faith in Christ.

Crowns in heaven are not earned through personal merit but are a gift of God's grace to those who believe in Christ Jesus. Each believer receives their crowns solely due to God's sovereign choice and the work of Jesus Christ. The crowns represent legal ownership as heirs of God, made possible through Christ's sacrifice and righteousness. As noted in Ephesians 1:11-12, believers are predestined to inherit these blessings, and their crowns signify that they have been made worthy by His grace. Ultimately, as seen in Revelation, believers will cast their crowns before Christ’s throne, acknowledging that all glory and reward belong to Him, as He is the source of their salvation and righteousness.
