How do we receive one another as Christians?

Answered in 1 source

We are to receive one another in love, just as Christ received us, showing grace and forgiveness (Romans 15:7).

Christians are called to receive one another in love and humility, reflecting the acceptance they have experienced from Christ. Romans 15:7 instructs us, 'Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.' This means welcoming others despite their faults and shortcomings, just as Christ receives us in our brokenness. By doing so, we cultivate a community rooted in grace, mirroring the love of Christ and fulfilling our responsibility to support and encourage one another in faith. Fostering such relationships demonstrates our understanding of God's love and grace towards us, allowing us to grow together in Christ.
