How do we receive the Holy Spirit according to the Bible?

According to Scripture, particularly in Ephesians 1:13, believers receive the Holy Spirit after they hear the gospel and place their trust in Christ. This sealing by the Holy Spirit indicates that they belong to God and have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus.
