How do we see God according to Scripture?

Answered in 1 source

We see God through His creation, providence, and most fully in Jesus Christ, as expressed in John 6:45 and Colossians 1:15.

Seeing God is an essential aspect of the believer's experience. According to John 6:45, it is through being taught by God that individuals come to Christ, indicating that understanding divine truths leads to recognizing God’s presence. Furthermore, believers see God in the created world, His providential workings, and supremely in Jesus Christ, who is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). This multifaceted vision of God enhances faith and encourages believers as they navigate life, affirming that God is not distant but actively involved in their journey.
