How do we see God's love through the cross?

Answered in 1 source

God's love is clearly demonstrated at the cross, where He sent His Son to die in place of sinners.

At the cross, God's profound love for humanity is manifest as He provided a way for sinners to be reconciled to Him. Romans 5:8 says, 'But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' This act of sacrificing His Son showcases not only God's desire to redeem His creation but also His resolve to take on human suffering in order to satisfy divine justice. The love exhibited at the cross is a love that compels believers to worship and serve Him in gratitude, as it reconciles them to God and assures them of eternal life.
