How do we seek God's presence in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

We seek God's presence through prayer, repentance, and a humble acknowledgment of our need for His grace.

Seeking God's presence is an integral part of the believer's life and is emphasized in Isaiah 64, where Isaiah repeatedly prays for the Lord to rend the heavens and come down. This illustrates the urgent desire for God's closeness and involvement. Prayer is a primary means through which we cultivate this relationship, allowing us to express our dependence on Him. Furthermore, through confession and repentance, we invite His presence into our lives, recognizing that without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Acknowledging our sinfulness and His grace opens our hearts to experience His transformative presence, which fills us with hope and joy.
