How do we use Christ as our propitiation?

Answered in 1 source

We use Christ as our propitiation by coming to God in faith and confessing our sins.

To utilize Christ as our propitiation, we must approach God in faith, acknowledging our sins and relying on Jesus as the one who satisfies divine justice. Just as in the Old Testament sacrificial system where the sinner laid their hands upon the sacrifice, we too must identify ourselves with Christ through faith. In bringing Christ to God as the sacrifice for our sins, we confess our need for His grace and the merit of His blood. This conscious act of faith assures us that we have a channel to communicate with God, supporting the assurance that leads to sanctification and deeper intimacy with our Creator, affirming our status as His forgiven children.
