How do we worship according to God's order?

Answered in 1 source

Worship must align with God's prescribed means, reflecting both His holiness and the way He has commanded us to honor Him.

Worship is not self-defined; it must follow God's order as revealed in Scripture. In Leviticus 22:31-33, the Lord instructs us to keep His commandments and to worship Him as He has ordained. This means adhering to the sacraments, such as baptism and the Lord's Supper, and observing them as instituted by Christ. By worshipping according to God's prescribed means, we recognize His authority and sovereignty, and we reflect the seriousness with which we must approach Him. Deviating from God’s order not only risks our worship being unacceptable but also misrepresents the holiness of the God we seek to honor.
