How do you define life-saving faith?

Answered in 1 source

Life-saving faith is a deep trust in Christ, resulting in eternal security and transformative living.

Life-saving faith is rooted in the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). It involves a personal relationship with Him, recognizing His work on the cross as the means of atonement for sin. This faith results not only in salvation but transforms how one lives, in line with God's Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit. As illustrated by Stephen, genuine faith can endure persecution and suffering because it sees beyond the temporary to the eternal hope found in Christ (Hebrews 10:22). Such faith assures believers of their place in God's family and empowers them to fulfill His purpose in their lives.
