How does adversity teach us to pray?

Answered in 1 source

Adversity often prompts believers to seek God more earnestly in prayer.

Scripture shows that trials and tribulations can deepen a believer's prayer life. As stated in Hosea 5:15, God uses affliction to draw His people back to Himself, encouraging them to seek His face. When faced with difficulties, believers often find themselves more honest and sincere in their prayers, much like King David expressed in Psalm 119:71, recognizing that his afflictions were ultimately for his growth and God's glory. Adversity refines the heart and directs it towards God, allowing the believer to rely on His strength and grace during tough times.
