How does Christ address our burdens and sins?

Answered in 1 source

Christ takes our burdens upon Himself and offers us rest from our sins and sorrows.

In Matthew 11:28, Christ invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. This promise speaks directly to the heart of the Christian experience. Like the distressed followers of David, who came to him for relief, we must turn to Christ, recognizing that He alone can relieve our burdens of sin and guilt. His sacrificial death on the cross provided the means for our debt to be paid and for us to be set free from the guilt of our sins. In Him, we find not just forgiveness, but also a new life empowered by the Holy Spirit.
