How does Christ compare to Moses in the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is greater than Moses as He is the Son over God's house, fulfilling and surpassing the covenantal role of Moses.

In Hebrews 3:5-6, Paul presents Christ as superior to Moses, highlighting that while Moses was a faithful servant within God's house, Christ is the Son over His house. Moses’ role was to testify of the coming Redeemer, while Christ is the fulfillment of all that Moses pointed to. Moses led the Israelites from physical bondage, but Christ delivers His people from spiritual bondage, emphasizing that true freedom is found in Him alone. This establishes the reverence owed to Christ as the foundation and builder of God's covenant community.
