How does Christ fulfill God's promise of judgment?

Answered in 1 source

Christ fulfills God's promise of judgment by establishing His reign and bringing peace to His people through His sacrifice.

The fulfillment of God's promise of judgment through Christ is evident in His life, death, and resurrection. Christ ascended to the throne after satisfying divine justice through His sacrifice, which is articulated in Philippians 2:9-11: 'Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.' This exaltation is the divine endorsement of Christ's righteous work, securing His rule over all. In doing so, He executes judgment against evil while simultaneously offering grace to His people. Through this mechanism, Christ draws His elect into a reconciled relationship with God, fulfilling the promise seen throughout Scripture that God will create a people who worship Him in truth and spirit.
