How does Christ fulfill the promise of God's salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ fulfills God's promise of salvation by taking on flesh and saving His people through His finished work.

Christ embodies God's promise of salvation as He came in the flesh to redeem humanity. As stated in Isaiah 40:10-11, He is characterized as a mighty Savior who feeds His flock and carries them. His work was purposeful and thorough, assuring us that nothing could thwart His plan. Furthermore, Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection are central to the gospel message, affirming that He has already accomplished salvation for His elect. As sovereign and compassionate, He guarantees that His sheep will not be lost, thus fulfilling all that God promised to His people.
