How does Christ fulfill the requirements that we cannot meet?

Answered in 1 source

Christ fulfills the law's requirements by living a perfect life (Romans 7:24-25).

Christ's fulfillment of the law is central to the Christian faith. As stated in Romans 7:24-25, Paul laments his inability to meet the law's requirements but rejoices in Jesus Christ, who perfectly obeyed the law on behalf of sinners. Christ lived a sinless life and fully met God's expectations, thus granting believers His righteousness in exchange for their sin. This divine exchange is foundational to the doctrine of justification by faith alone, where believers are seen as righteous because of Christ's perfect obedience.
