How does Christ fulfill the role of the builder in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the cornerstone and builder of our faith, providing stability and purpose to our spiritual house (1 Corinthians 3:11).

Christ serves as both the foundation and builder of His church, as indicated in 1 Corinthians 3:11: 'For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.' He accomplishes this work through His life, death, and resurrection, establishing a spiritual household where believers can dwell securely. Just as a physical house needs a solid structure to endure, our spiritual lives require the firm foundation of Christ to withstand trials and tribulations. His role ensures that our home—both individual and corporate—remains stable and fruitful.
