How does Christ provide for His followers according to the sermon?

Answered in 1 source

Christ provides for His followers' needs spiritually and physically, demonstrating His care and sovereignty.

In John 21, we see a beautiful illustration of Christ’s provision for His followers. Upon their return from fishing, the disciples found Jesus had prepared a fire with fish and bread on the shore. This act signifies His care for their physical needs, while also pointing to His role as the Bread of Life (John 6:35). Christ's provision goes beyond mere physical sustenance; it reflects His commitment to meet their spiritual needs through fellowship and grace. As believers, recognizing that all we possess comes from His hand reinforces our understanding of His sovereign grace, teaching us to rely not just on what we labor for, but on what He graciously gives. It reassures us that He is the source of all good gifts (James 1:17).
