How does Christ's blood provide intercession for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's blood serves as the basis for His intercession, allowing believers to approach God confidently.

Christ's blood is not only essential for atonement but also empowers His intercession on behalf of believers. Hebrews 8:1-3 conveys that every high priest is ordained to offer sacrifices, and since Christ is our High Priest, His offering of His blood is fundamental to His ministry. The blood was applied to the horns of the altar in the heavenly tabernacle, symbolizing the strength and efficacy of Christ's intercession. Through His offering, believers can confidently approach the throne of grace, knowing their sins have been dealt with, as depicted in Hebrews 10:19. This means we can come before God, not burdened by guilt, but justified and cleansed, able to commune with Him as His beloved children.
