How does Christ's life on earth assure us of our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's perfect life assures believers of salvation as He fulfilled the law on our behalf, taking our sins and granting us His righteousness.

The life of Christ on earth serves as the embodiment of perfect obedience to God's law. As stated in Philippians 2:7-8, He humbled Himself and became a servant, fully engaging in the human experience while remaining without sin. His life fulfilled the requirements of the law that we fail to meet, thus making Him the perfect sacrifice for our sins. This perfect obedience is imputed to believers, meaning that when God looks at us, He sees Christ's righteousness rather than our shortcomings. Therefore, the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ secure our salvation and provide a firm foundation for our faith, as highlighted in Hebrews 7:25, which states that He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him.
