How does Christ's sacrifice relate to peace?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrifice on the cross is the means by which peace was made between God and humanity.

The sacrifice of Jesus is the foundation of our peace with God. Ephesians 2:14 states, 'For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.' Through His death, Christ dealt with our sin, the barrier that caused enmity between us and God. His blood provides the necessary atonement, securing forgiveness and reconciliation for all who believe. Romans 5:10 also supports this, declaring that while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son. This profound act of love is what ultimately brings us into a state of peace, free from guilt and fear, enabling us to stand before God.
