How does Christ's sacrifice relate to the Ark of Noah?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrifice is likened to the Ark of Noah, as He provides safety from God's wrath for those who believe.

The Ark of Noah signifies God's protection and provision for His chosen people during judgment, just as Christ was sent as a Redeemer for His elect. In Genesis 6:14-16, God commanded Noah to build the ark, illustrating divine providence in preparing a refuge. Similarly, Christ is depicted as the perfect sacrificial Lamb—'the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world' (Revelation 13:8)—whose blood provides atonement and covers our sins. Through His death and resurrection, Christ fulfills the role of our Ark, perfectly shielding us from the divine judgment we deserve and granting us eternal safety. Indeed, there is no salvation apart from Him, as He is the only way to the Father.
