How does faith in Christ fulfill the law?

Answered in 1 source

Faith in Christ fulfills the law by establishing righteousness for believers through His perfect obedience (Romans 3:31).

According to Romans 3:31, faith does not void the law but rather establishes it. Believers are justified through faith in Christ, who perfectly fulfills the requirements of the law on our behalf. Our faith gives us the righteousness needed to meet God's holy standard, which we could never achieve on our own. Christ, in His life and sacrificial death, perfectly obeyed the law and satisfied God's wrath. Thus, through faith in Him, we receive His righteousness and are declared free from the law's condemnation.
