How does faith play a role in experiencing the peace of God?

Answered in 1 source

Faith enables us to access the grace and peace of God through Christ, allowing us to rest in His finished work (Romans 5:2).

Faith acts as the conduit through which we experience the peace of God. Romans 5:2 teaches that, 'By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand.' This means that it is through faith that we not only receive salvation but also the ongoing peace that comes from knowing Christ's atoning work on our behalf. Our faith helps us to trust in God's promises and His continued presence in our lives, allowing us to rest securely in the fact that Christ has completed the work necessary for our reconciliation with God.
