How does faith play a role in healing from sin?

Answered in 1 source

Faith is the means through which we receive the cleansing and healing power of Christ.

Faith acts as a conduit for receiving God's grace and the healing that Christ offers for our sins. In Mark 5, the woman's faith in Jesus enabled her to press through the crowd to seek His healing touch. This illustrates that true faith acknowledges our need for Christ and relies entirely on His righteousness for salvation. Romans 10:10 states that with the heart man believes unto righteousness, reinforcing that salvation and healing from sin come through belief in Christ's work. This God-given faith not only justifies us but also provides the assurance and peace that come from being united with Christ and His righteousness.
