How does faith play a role in receiving God's blessings?

Answered in 1 source

Faith is the means through which we receive God's blessings, as demonstrated by both Jacob and Abel in their respective stories.

In both Genesis 27 and the account of Abel in Genesis 4, we see that faith is the crucial factor in receiving blessings from God. Abel was justified because he offered his sacrifice by faith, gaining God's approval. Similarly, Jacob, despite his flaws, is accepted by his father Isaac because he approaches by faith, representing a deeper truth about how God's chosen people access grace. This illustrates that blessings are bestowed not on the basis of our deeds but through believing in God's promises and accepting His provision through Christ.
