How does faith relate to our life and righteousness as Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Faith in Christ is the means by which we are made righteous and allowed to live a new life (Galatians 2:20).

According to Galatians 2:20, 'I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.' This illustrates that our spiritual life and righteousness are deeply tied to the faith that comes through Christ. We are not alive due to our own efforts; rather, it is through Christ's love and sacrifice that we experience true life. This faith effects a transformation within us, making us righteous in God’s sight. Therefore, our pursuit of holiness and righteousness is not based on the law but is a byproduct of the faith we receive from Christ, shaping our lives as we grow in Him.
