How does faith relate to our struggles and doubts?

Answered in 1 source

Faith acknowledges our struggles and doubts while resting in the assurance of God's promises and faithfulness.

Faith does not negate our experiences of doubt and struggle; instead, it reassures us that we are not alone in our struggles. The Bible illustrates this in accounts like that of the father who asked Jesus for healing, saying, 'I believe; help my unbelief!' (Mark 9:24). This shows that faith often exists alongside doubt, and God understands our human frailties. As we navigate difficulties, faith draws us back to the truth of God's unwavering faithfulness, as seen throughout Scripture, reminding us that our salvation and assurance do not rest upon our strength but upon Christ's completed work. In times of trial, we are invited to rest in God’s promises and trust, knowing that He works through our weaknesses.
