How does faith relate to receiving from God?

Answered in 1 source

Faith is the means by which we receive what we ask from God, aligned with His will (Mark 11:24).

Faith acts as the conduit through which we receive from God, according to His sovereign will and good pleasure. In Mark 11:24, Jesus assures believers that if they desire something in prayer and believe they have received it, it shall be theirs. However, this belief should not be misconstrued as a formula for manipulating God's hand; rather, it is about trusting in His character and promises. Real faith acknowledges that God knows better than we do what we need, and it submits to His wise governance over our lives.
