How does faith relate to the blood of Christ in salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Faith is the means through which believers accept the cleansing power of Christ's blood for their salvation.

Faith is fundamental to accepting the redemptive work achieved by the blood of Christ. Hebrews 11 illustrates that through faith, the people of God recognize and believe in the significance of the blood. It is by faith that we understand that it is Christ alone who cleanses us from sin and grants us righteousness. Consequently, without faith, one cannot grasp or appropriate the power of His blood (Romans 3:25). In essence, faith acts as the channel through which we receive the benefits of Christ's sacrificial blood, granting us a relationship with God and assurance of forgiveness.
