How does faith relate to trials in a Christian's life?

Answered in 1 source

Faith enables Christians to endure trials as they trust God's purposes and His ultimate provision.

Trials are an inevitable part of the Christian experience, designed by God to refine and strengthen our faith. God's word assures us that He sovereignly ordains these trials for His purposes, ultimately guiding us to rely on Him more deeply. During trials, believers are called to look to Christ, the ultimate source of strength and refuge. The trials serve to remind us of our weaknesses and to keep our focus on eternity, as seen in the journeys of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who viewed their earthly life as temporary sojourns. This perspective equips believers to endure, knowing that each trial has a divine purpose and an appointed end.
