How does fearing God affect our daily lives?

Answered in 1 source

Fearing God influences our relationships, decisions, and commitment to spiritual practices.

Fearing God profoundly affects our daily lives by guiding our choices and interactions with others. Romans 13:1-7 teaches us to submit to authorities as they are instituted by God, indicating that our reverence for God should extend to how we respect and honor those He has placed in positions of power. Additionally, the fear of God prompts us to act with integrity and love in our relationships, be it with family, friends, or colleagues. Ephesians 6 calls servants to obey their masters with sincerity, which translates into modern contexts as a diligent work ethic toward employers. Moreover, this fear leads us to prioritize our spiritual practices, such as worship, prayer, and studying the Word, as we sincerely seek to honor God in all aspects of our lives.
