How does God empower us to fulfill His requirements?

Answered in 1 source

God empowers us through the Holy Spirit, who enables us to do what He commands.

When God calls us to fulfill His requirements, He doesn't leave us powerless. Instead, He provides the necessary strength through His Holy Spirit. In Haggai, the call to 'be strong and work' is accompanied by the assurance of God's presence. He is with His people to guide, strengthen, and sustain them. The biblical principle that 'it is God who works in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure' captures this reality perfectly. Thus, we can faithfully respond to God's commands, confident that He will supply what we lack.
