How does God give grace to believers?

Answered in 2 sources

God gives grace as a free gift, at no cost to us, enabling us to fulfill His purposes.

God's grace to believers is described as an 'absolute donation' that relies on His mercy rather than any merit we might possess. As it is spelled out in Scripture, this grace is not given based on our ability but flows from the nature of God Himself. Without God initiating this grace, humanity would remain in a state of sin. Moreover, as believers experience life’s challenges, they can be assured that God supplies the necessary grace at the right time, confirming that His provisions exceed our needs and understanding.
