How does God grant believers freedom from the presence of sin?

Answered in 1 source

God promises that believers will ultimately be free from the presence of sin at the resurrection.

While believers experience the struggle of sin in their lives now, Romans 6:22 assures them of a future reality where they will be completely free from sin's presence. This promise points to the culmination of salvation, when Christ returns to receive His people and fully eradicate sin from their existence. Believers can look forward to everlasting life in the presence of God, where sin cannot enter and their struggles will cease.
