How does God judge wickedness according to Scripture?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture shows that God judges wickedness through His righteous justice.

God's judgment on wickedness is a theme seen throughout the Bible, most notably in Judges 9. As Abimelech and the men of Shechem plotted evil, God intervened, sending division and ultimately judgment upon them for their actions. This example illustrates that God does not overlook sin; rather, He is just and will render to each according to their deeds. Romans 12:19 reminds us not to seek vengeance, for God has promised, 'Vengeance is mine; I will repay.' Thus, God’s judgment serves both as a warning to the unrighteous and a reassurance to believers of His ultimate justice.
