How does God make people willing to serve?

Answered in 1 source

God makes people willing through His divine power, enabling them to desire and fulfill His good pleasure.

According to Philippians 2:13, it is 'God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.' This illustrates that our willingness to serve and give is not a product of our own effort but rather a work of God's sovereign grace. When God stirs our hearts, He does so with the same power that raised Christ from the dead, as noted in Ephesians 1:19-20. This divine intervention transforms our desires and motivations, enabling us to respond with a willing heart to the opportunities and calls for service that God sets before us. Thus, true willingness is a manifestation of God's grace in our lives.
