How does God reassure His people in times of fear?

Answered in 2 sources

God reassures His people through His promises and presence, reminding them that He is in control.

In times when fear overtakes us, Scripture provides rich assurance through the promises of God. In Genesis 31, even though Jacob was filled with fear as he fled from Laban, God intervened with a direct promise of presence and protection. The reminder that God is our refuge and strength, as stated in Psalm 46, is vital in our times of uncertainty. He encourages us not to fear, reiterating His commitment to guide and protect us. Our assurance comes not from our circumstances but from the unchanging nature of God. In Christ, we find the ultimate example of God’s love and faithfulness, as He promises never to leave us nor forsake us.
