How does God refine our faith through trials?

1 Peter 1:7 illustrates that the trial of our faith is more precious than gold, as it reveals the genuineness of our faith. Just as gold must be refined by fire to remove impurities, so too does our faith undergo testing to strengthen and purify it. God does not try our faith to discover its strength, but rather to manifest the strength already given to us by His grace. Each trial serves to deepen our reliance on Christ and glorify God as we learn to trust Him more fully in all circumstances.
