How does God respond to the prayers of His people?

Answered in 2 sources

God has great respect for the prayers of His people, especially when they are offered in faith through Christ.

God honors and esteems the prayers offered by His people, fundamentally because of the intercession of Jesus Christ. The sermon illustrates how prayers, in their own right, may fall short but secured by Christ’s mediation, they are given weight and significance. God desires His people to come before Him boldly in prayer, assuring them that He listens and responds. This respect for their prayers not only encourages believers to pray but emphasizes the relationship that exists between God and those who trust in the righteousness of Christ.
