How does God reveal sin in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

God reveals sin through His Word, the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and personal experience.

God's revelation of sin occurs mainly through the preaching of the Word and the inner workings of the Holy Spirit. As believers read scripture and listen to proclamations of God's truth, they come face-to-face with their depravity. The Spirit works to expose the hidden corners of the heart, enabling believers to see themselves as they truly are—lost without Christ. The continuous process of being confronted with sin and realizing the weight of it serves to deepen a believer's reliance on grace, encouraging a life marked by humility and dependence on God’s mercy.
