How does God's glory relate to our lives?

Answered in 1 source

God's glory is the ultimate purpose for our existence, calling us to live in a way that brings Him honor.

The purpose of everything in creation, including our lives, is to glorify God. Romans 11:36 concludes with the declaration, 'For of him, and through him, and to him are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.' This verse emphasizes that all that exists is meant to bring glory to God. Thus, our life's aim should align with this divine purpose.

In practical terms, this means living in a manner that reflects God’s character and attributes. As His creations, we are called to worship, serve, and proclaim His greatness in our actions, relationships, and communities. Recognizing that we exist for His glory shifts our perspective from self-centeredness to God-centeredness, allowing us to find true fulfillment and joy in our lives. Ultimately, we are created to praise Him, and when we focus on His glory, we fulfill the very reason for our existence.
