How does God's grace contribute to our spiritual growth?

The grace of God is fundamental to our spiritual growth, as it is only through His unmerited favor that we are drawn to Him and enabled to grow. As noted in 2 Peter 3:18, we are instructed to 'grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.' This continual process of growth involves increasing our understanding of God’s Word, relying on His Spirit for transformation, and responding to His call through obedience. Grace also manifests in the fruits of the Spirit, evidencing our maturity in Christ and demonstrating our commitment to living according to His directives.
