How does God's grace make us different from others?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is what distinguishes His people from the world, as seen in the biblical accounts of Israel and Egypt.

In his message, Paul addresses the divisions among the Corinthians and asks them, 'Who maketh thee to differ from another?' This rhetorical question points to the understanding that any spiritual insight or ability one possesses is a result of God's grace. For instance, in Exodus 11, we see that while both Israelites and Egyptians were wicked, it was the mercy of God that made a distinction between them. Thus, any sense of superiority or capability in discerning truth comes solely from God's unmerited favor and not from personal merit or achievement.
