How does God's judgment view good and bad works?

Answered in 1 source

In God's judgment, there is no mixture of good and bad; one is either perfectly righteous or completely sinful.

God's judgment on humanity transcends human standards of good and bad. Most people perceive themselves as a mixture of both, but according to scripture, God recognizes only two conditions: absolute perfection or complete sinfulness. Paul stated in Romans 3:23, 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' This means that regardless of human perception, when judged by God's standard, we all stand guilty. The implication of this is profound: one must come to Christ acknowledging their sinful state without any reliance on their own merits. Only then can they receive the cleansing and righteousness offered through faith in Christ, as seen through the example of the leper, who came to Jesus fully acknowledging his need for healing.
