How does God’s providence work in our lives according to the sermon?

Answered in 1 source

God's providence orchestrates our circumstances to bring about His grace and salvation in our lives.

God’s providence is depicted through the events of Ruth's gleaning in Boaz's fields, where she finds favor and ultimately her redemption. Despite appearing coincidental, these circumstances are evidence of God's sovereign control and purposeful guidance in the lives of His people. As noted in the sermon, God's providential care assures us that even in difficulty, He is working all things for the good of His elect. This understanding encourages Christians to trust in God's sovereign plans, especially during trials, knowing that He is arranging our paths to fulfill His promises of grace and mercy.
