How does God's providence work in times of trouble?

Answered in 1 source

God's providence ensures that even in sorrow, He works to fulfill His promise of deliverance and joy for His people.

God’s providence is often most evident in times of struggle and sorrow. In Esther, despite overwhelming circumstances, God ordained a turnaround whereby His people were ultimately delivered and filled with joy, showing that His plans cannot be thwarted. Romans 8:28 assures us that God works all things for the good of those who love Him, and this truth remains central to our faith. Even in trials, we are called to trust that God is sovereign and faithful, providing for our needs and bestowing sufficient grace, as Paul learned through his own afflictions. Understanding this allows us to face trials with hope and assurance in God's unfailing love.
