How does God's revelation of Himself affect us?

Answered in 1 source

God's revelation of Himself to humanity blesses us with understanding, relationship, and assurance of His presence.

Seeing God's character and purpose through revelation transforms our perception and relationship with Him. As indicated in Galatians 4:9, this revelation shows us that God is not distant, but intimately involved in our lives. It invites believers to approach Him confidently, knowing they are known and loved by their Creator. The knowledge of God leads to spiritual growth, equipping us with the truth needed to navigate life's challenges, reinforcing the promise that He will guide and hold our hands through difficulties, as stated in Isaiah 41:10. Recognizing God in this way alters our fears, as we understand we have a friend who is greater than our struggles.
