How does God's sovereignty give us peace in trials?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty assures us that He is in complete control, allowing us peace even amid trials.

Knowing that God is sovereign provides tremendous peace during trials. In Isaiah 8:10, we are reminded that despite appearing daunting, the counsel against us will come to nothing, for 'God is with us.' Understanding that every trial is permitted or ordained by a wise God helps us to trust in His ultimate purpose. Our peace is not derived from our circumstances but from the assurance that God is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28) and His glory. This perspective helps us to face tribulations with confidence, knowing His authority stretches over every aspect of our lives.
