How does God's sovereignty influence our evangelism?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty assures us that He has chosen a bride for His Son, motivating and encouraging our evangelistic efforts.

Understanding God’s sovereignty significantly shapes the approach to evangelism. The story in Genesis 24 illustrates this beautifully, as the servant goes out to find a wife for Isaac, confident that God has already chosen the bride. Similarly, evangelists today can be assured that God has a people He has appointed to hear and respond to the gospel. This belief inspires boldness and peace, knowing that the Holy Spirit goes before us, preparing hearts to receive the message. As ambassadors of Christ, our role is to faithfully proclaim the gospel, trusting that those whom God has called will respond. The knowledge that God is sovereign over salvation frees believers from the anxiety of outcomes, allowing them to focus on faithfulness in their witness.
